Sunday 6th April 6pm : Breathwork with Abby

Through rhythmic breathing and bodywork, this dynamic practice offers an accelerated method of healing.

Engaging with the breath bridges the conscious and subconscious mind, providing space for the body to communicate unprocessed emotions and invoke altered states of awareness.

Re-establish and explore your aliveness, awaken your capacity to heal and retrieve a sense of wholeness and clarity.

This 90-minute session will open with intention setting and optional sharing. Abby will guide and encourage the breath and offer gentle body work to intensify or ignite expressive release. Deep relaxation is followed by an opportunity to reflect on your process with others.

The practice serves as a gentle nudge back toward our true nature, reminding us that a state of wholeness and being is not one we cultivate, but rather one we return to. Bridging our external and internal experience, allowing us to soften into the void of uncertainty, trusting that we are completely safe in the unknown.

Abby is not only BARAZA’s studio manager but is also a certified Yoga and Breathwork Facilitator who inspires to share tools to navigate the unpredictable waves of life. Creating a safe space for transformation as practitioners rekindle their relationship to and with themselves.

She shines light on our potential to soften and heal, inviting practitioners to listen to the communication from the body that speaks not through words but rather sensation and emotion.

Contraindications: This practice may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, have heart complications or facing extreme mental health concerns. Individuals with such conditions are advised to consult their doctor prior to signing up for a session.

Foundations of Yoga with the brilliant @kylekoumbatis

Build Strength & Find Balance.

Join Kyle for a 90 minute workshop designed to help you build a strong foundation in your yoga practice.

Blending traditional teachings with modern movement, mindfulness, and breathwork -this session will give you the tools to move with refreshed confidence, stability, and ease - whether you’re a new or seasoned yogi.

Starting this fim de Semana we will have classes on Sundays - for our first edition @brucechungyoga will be coming in from Brussels to lead practices which are not to be missed.

Then the following weekend @ann.schreppers will be in the studio fresh from Kenya to guide us.

Join us at either 9am or 10.30am both can be booked as usual via the Baraza app!

Also back with the monthly fundraising Kirtan - @rebeccahajekyoga and her guests will take us on a journey through call and response chanting and music this Friday (21st). Save your spot via the app and all donations to the local charity are to be brought in cash.

We have many more exciting things- think new teachers and beautiful familiar faces back in the studio, fresh workshops plus masterclasses coming your way soon.

So you can enjoy the yoga flow everyday of the week in our beautiful Santos studio.
