Autumn breezes its way into BARAZA - and with it:

Our monthly fundraising Kirtan hosted by @rebeccahajekyoga with @paulaandreewitch & @baltazarmolina9 tonight from 6.30pm (Friday 4th Oct).

This month donations are being raised for the Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa to aid in those affected by the recent wildfires here in Portugal.
We ask if you can bring cash - suggested donation is €15.

Then tomorrow (Saturday) join @tonylupinacci for a guest spot double at 9am & 10.30am.

Plus take a look at the following week’s schedule as we have so many incredible teachers from the BARAZA team guiding our 5 daily classes.

‘With a deep respect for yoga philosophy, Kyle combines studies of traditional yoga, from his time in India, with developmental movement, storytelling, and mindfulness application for the modern day teachers, to offer an holistic approach to the art of living.

His approach to guiding regular self care, embodies a playfulness, wisdom, and humor that breaks barriers amidst wellness culture and encourages all levels and personalities to the mat. He is certified with two established ashrams in India, with Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT) with Yoga Alliance® RYT 500+ hours, and has gained extended training from master teachers across India.’

INTRODUCING

Mixing things up as we move into our new school year- with fun additions to our team, a refreshed September schedule - plus the return of monthly favorites like Kirtan. Full details are on their way to you- but for now meet @samanthajameson

Samantha is a healer and intuitive counselor, dedicating the past 14 years to studying various forms of alternative medicine.

She has completed several trainings in her pursuit of education, as a multi-disciplinary yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Reiki Master, and Doula.

Her yoga training includes yoga therapy, Buti, power yoga, vinyasa, yin and slow flow, as well as Pilates. With a deep understanding of the physiological body from her years as a professional dancer.

Samantha brings passion, intuition, empathy, and high energy to her classes, always with the most fire playlists!

Find her on the schedule this Saturday 31st at 9&10.30am as we come together to see out the end of August 🌞

We are so excited to announce that @celestpereirapt will be returning to BARAZA for a super special masterclass.

Come spend the morning at the studio with this renowned international teacher - as she guides us through Neural Flossing for Splits 🤸‍♀️

About Celest

Celest is a self proclaimed geek who loves anatomy, neuroscience and biomechanics. She miraculously acquired her BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy in 2009, despite dropping out of school at 16. She found learning at school really tough, however now credits her ability to make complex concepts easy to grasp, down to her learning struggles.

She runs regular education-based workshops where she takes current scientific research, anecdotal evidence from senior healthcare providers and applies them to movement disciplines.

She’s currently specialising in functional neurology, learning how it can be applied to improve pain, health and performance.

Keep flowing all summer at BARAZA. A reminder that we are open during bank, school and saints holidays!

Find us 5 days a week providing classes at 7.30am, 9.00am & 10.30am in the morning and at 5.00 & 6.30pm in the evening. And at the weekend on Saturdays at 9.00 & 10.30am.

Consistency is key to your practices 🗝️ so whether you’re a neighbor or a tourist in town for a few days- or anything in between - we are here, glass doors open 🤍
