DAY 2! We are getting stuck into our 21 day challenge and a huge well done to alllll of you who’ve chosen to dedicate yourself to your practice at this time. If you’re a little late to the party you can still start today and maybe squeeze two practices in- remembering we have slower flows, pranayama and meditation all available on our website. You can also nominate or sponsor friends or family members who could maybe do with a little boost at this point. Be sure to tag us in any photos or videos you make as we will be giving fabulous prizes along the way - because let’s face it, we all bloody deserve them. DAY 1! BETTER TOGETHER 21 DAY YOGA CHALLENGE.
Community has always been at the heart of Baraza- which during this time meant providing free, daily classes. Instagram live has given us the opportunity to interact in real time, feeling a vital sense of connection and perhaps even a small taste of normality over the last six weeks. We have also been intent on releasing regular, longer prerecorded classes to ensure that if you wanted more in depth and varied practices, we’d have you covered too.
Now as we start to look towards May, and as we all still face some uncertainty, we want to do our best to keep you motivated, focused and excited about the future.
We’re inviting you to participate in a 21 day yoga challenge - from the 27th April all the way to our 1 year anniversary on the 17th of May! Setting yourself the goal of 21 days of yoga will mean that we can continue to meet on the mat, whether it be through Instagram lives, prerecorded classes or working on your self practice, so we can learn, share and support each other through this time.
There is the option to do this challenge completely for free, but if you are able, we ask for a donation of 21€ for a 21 days of yoga. Your donations mean that we can continue to support our teachers and keep our doors open, so that whenever you are able to, you can stroll back into Santos and through our doors...to be greeted with the biggest of hugs, y’know - if allowed.
If you choose to dedicate yourself to this challenge then we will be with you every step of the way, as until we can be open again for public classes we will continue to provide all sorts virtual content to you. To join us respond to this post with an emoji or comment and we’ll take a note of your name! We’ll be asking for occasional selfies via DM, IG stories etc by way of proof... and entertainment. Be sure to tag Baraza along the way as we will be handing out prizes throughout, in the form of class passes and tops with this beautifulllll Baraza design from the incredible elizabetholwen!
